I’ve been living in the neighbourhood for over two year and always walked by this place without knowing I was missing out on the best chocolate and hot chocolate in town. Used to drive all the way down town to buy my chocolate from Soma. So happy I finally discovered them. Will never buy chocolate anywhere else.

Best ice-cream I've ever found. Ice-cream is an entire food group, and a daily 'must' in my life. Ambiance has amazingly smooth, creamy ice-creams. Love their chocolate, love the tartness of their lemon and the originality of hibiscus/rose (my favourite) - all with flakes of chocolate. So glad to have found them.

Really exquisite, hand-made chocolates! My only request would be that they made peanut/nut-free varieties so that people in my family with those allergies could enjoy them as well. Overall, really solid choice!

Love this shop. The chocolates are to die for, so many delicious flavours and all with a real chocolate taste, not too sweet. A great place for a rich hot chocolate drink in the wintertime. In the summer they also make amazing icecream and a pineapple-coconut frappe that is so good you will crave it. The owners are the sweetest too! Can't recommend Ambiance enough.

These folks make fabulous chocolate! I am so sad they moved from Queen Street East, where they were more easily accessible to me. Now I have to trek miles to buy their gorgeous chocolates.

This is by far the best chocolate shop I have ever had the pleasure of buying chocolate from. Not only is their chocolate far superior to any chocolate I've had, but Beata was so helpful and friendly. Her knowledge and experience was so helpful that I knew this is where I had to buy chocolate from to impress my co-workers. One bite and they all said they would be buying chocolate from this shop. All thumbs up! Stellar chocolate.

Ambiance makes the best chocolates I have ever tasted, either in Europe or in North America. Each bite gives you a big experience, and when the piece is done there is a finish that can only be compared to a good wine. Ambiance is a jewel in this city. The chocolates are one-of-a-kind; the owners are flavour-artists. They are also perfectionists. And they succeed.

Amazing chocolates!The flavours are fantastic, bold and not overly sweet.The hot chocolate is great as well. It has a rich and creamy taste without being heavy.I had a chance to talk to the owner and he seems to really enjoy his work.I will be back many times.
